The British Gear Association has reviewed the pricing structure of its online shop to assist its members and encourage more nonmembers to use the website and consider BGA membership.

The British Gear Association has reviewed the pricing structure of its online shop to assist its members and encourage more nonmembers to use the website and consider BGA membership.

The downward revision of charges brings in the following pricing structure for training notes: mechanical power transmission series GBP 20 members (GBP 35 nonmembers); tribology series GBP 15 members (GBP 25 nonmembers); and a CD of all training notes for GBP 250 members (GBP 450 nonmembers).

The BGA online shop has secured four figure sales since it was launched last autumn.

The downloads of the encrypted mechanical power and tribology series are reported to have been high.

And although sales and downloads are considered encouraging, the BGA wish to maximise the take-up of services.
