With operating loads ranging from daN 2000 to daN 20000, a new range of screw jack systems from the Brown Group when coupled with an electric motor drive can be used for pushing or pulling loads Available with either a travelling screw or rotating screw, the screw jacks can be supplied with a single or double (fast turning) input shaft
Mounted in series, it is possible to achieve a synchronised lifting or pulling operation for large items.
Because they are based on an irreversible gear, the screwjacks can be used to hold loads in position indefinitely without fear of displacement.
The Brown Group can supply complete systems which will include screw jacks, geared motors, couplings and intermediate shafting.
