New screw jacks for pushing or pulling loads
With operating loads ranging from daN 2000 to daN 20000, a new range of screw jack systems from the Brown Group when coupled with an electric motor drive can be used for pushing or pulling loads.
Used in conjunction with pumps, compressors, centrifuges and crushers, the MCD 3000 has a power range of 7.5 to 800kW over a voltage range of 380 to 500V.
Unlike similar systems requiring additional protection, the MCD 3000 range continuously monitors the motor, even in bypass mode.
Undercurrent protection to prevent dry running is particularly significant when pumps are being used and mechanical parts benefit from shear pin protection.
A phase sequence protection system prevents machinery from running backwards.
Requiring a 200-400V control supply, the MCD 3000 range is available in IP20 bookstyle enclosures up to 55kW and in compact form for ratings above that.
