A novel FOOG (filtered outlet outgassing) vent allows gas to escape from a container or bag during processing
Outgassing often occurs during the processing and manufacturing of powders and other materials.
This can result in significant pressure build in storage containers and bulk handling bag.
Brownell has developed a FOOG vent (filtered outlet outgassing vent) which allows the gas to escape from the container or bag and prevent potentially harmful pressure build ups.
An integral nonreturn valve prevents the atmosphere from entering the container or bag and contaminating the contents.
FOOG vents have full FDA trace ability for food applications.
