The costly downtime incurred waiting for the delivery of cut gaskets, or in sourcing special types, can be avoided with Loctite's new Black Tite, straight-from-the-can instant seal gasket A new addition to BSL's sealants range, Black Tite out performs cut gaskets: it seals first time and creates an instant tough rubber seal that is effective on normal, scored and irregular surfaces

Black Tite is equally suitable for use in automotive applications, and for general industrial use in equipment such as gearboxes and pumps.

The product provides an instant, low cost and time saving gasket solution straight from the can.

It seals consistently, offers excellent oil/coolant/temperature resistance and provides superior performance to cut gaskets in terms of flexibility and longer and more reliable service life.

The consistency of Black Tite means that, unlike cut gaskets, there is no struggling to remove creases or to achieve the correct seating.

The product offers the advantage that it is non slumping and can therefore be applied to vertical flanges.

It also fills scored surfaces (6mm) and generally adds strength to the assembly.

Because it can form any shape of gasket, Black Tite keeps inventory costs down.

It requires minimal storage space yet each can contains enough product to produce (for example) 10 mid-engine sized oil sump gaskets.

The Power Can design provides excellent manoeuvrability when applying, with no extra equipment (e.g guns) required.

This feature, combined with the unique, even-flow nozzle, produces a constant bead thread that is effective, constantly, to 230C and to 315C intermittently.
