Under a national recruitment scheme managed by specialists Real People, BSL is offering the opportunity for young people who are interested in good careers with one of the most pro-active industrial companies in the UK to join them for 18 months in a training capacity.
Candidates will be paid a salary while they learn about all aspects of the company and its business.
BSL expect successful candidates to find an area of interest or natural aptitude within the company structure, where they can be offered a permanent position at the end of the training programme.
The programme has been introduced by BSL Human Resource Manager Charlotte Park, who is keen to encourage young people to make contact.
She states, "There are some great young people out there, who need the kind of investment we are prepared to make in their development.
BSL will be providing transport and helping with accommodation where it is required during the 18 month training period, during which candidates will be given a real taste of every aspect of the company".
Training modules will include in-house sales, IT, purchasing and marketing as well as product training by major suppliers.
Candidates need to be under 25 years of age, hold a minimum of 5 GCSE passes or equivalent and have 2 years experience in a customer-facing role.
Applicants should call Chris Buckley at Real People, direct on 01274 878770.
Interviews and induction events are being held at 2 assessment centres during the coming months, providing the same opportunity for young people from anywhere in the UK.
This scheme provides the opportunity that so many young people need from a national company that also works at a local level.
BSL have over 100 local Sales Branches across the UK, operate from a new distribution centre in the midlands and have their head office in Manchester.
