BSL has extended its Rocol Foodlube range of lubricants with the introduction of Foodlube Multi-Paste for multi-purpose anti-seize and lubrication applications

BSL has extended its Rocol Foodlube range of lubricants, the most comprehensive available for food-grade applications, with the introduction of Foodlube Multi-Paste for multi-purpose anti-seize and lubrication applications.

Foodlube Multi-Paste is a white, non-toxic, mineral hydro-carbon free paste, suitable for use as an anti-seize, assembly paste, and for lubricating bushes, slides and small open gears in the food industry, and other industries where cleanliness and hygiene is of major importance.

Like other Foodlube products, the performance of Multi-Paste has been proven in field trials with major food manufacturers and by extensive laboratory tests.

These have established that Foodlube products offer a performance level comparable with non-food-grade products.

Multi-Paste operates across a wide temperature range and offers excellent anti-seize properties over extended periods.

The paste is also tenacious, resisting water wash-out, and is economical to use, as it is applied as a thin film.

Multi-Paste, as with all the Foodlube range, offers those involved in food processing, and the retailers they serve, minimised risk against possible contamination of food, as it contains no nut or animal derived materials and no genetically modified ingredients.

In addition, because the products are food-grade and non-toxic, food manufacturers are protected against the risk of serious contamination in the event of foodstuffs coming into contact with the lubricant during routine maintenance or accidental leakage.

BSL's Rocol Foodlube range is manufactured only from ingredients listed by the FDA to meet the former requirements of the USDA H1.

This means that Foodlube products offer a much higher performance level than is normally associated with food-grade products and therefore provide a more viable option for companies in the food industry.

Common features of the range include good corrosion-resistance and excellent tenacity - even in wet environments.

These make the Foodlube range particularly suitable for food processing applications, where frequent wash-downs are an essential part of the hygiene routine.
