Bosch Motors and Controls has produced a catalogue featuring a range of extremely accurate and durable DC motors, fans and pumps for use in a wide variety of applications.

DC motors without a gear assembly come in a broad spread of power ratings - from 12V/14W up to 24V/750W - which can be used as servos for industrial applications or drives for any machine using motor power.

Examples include electric wheelchairs, sweeping machines, shower pumps, as well as automatic doors, blinds and shutters.

Uni- and multidirectional DC motors with gear assemblies are also available and are ideal for industrial applications such as actuators and conveyors belts, and there is also a range of motors with a reciprocating output shaft.

Small motors with hall sensors are also available.

DC fans include radial and axial fans rated for 12 and 24V applications and set up for S1-type (continuous) duty, making them ideal for heating, ventilation and cooling installations Water pressure and circulating pumps and a range of gear assemblies and potentiometers are also listed in the catalogue, which contains unique part numbers, photos, specifications and detailed diagrams for all models.

David Anderson, Sales and Marketing Manager for Bosch technical products, said: "Bosch has a long history of providing electrical systems for vehicles, where reliability, durability and safety of operation are paramount.

These motors are built to Bosch's renowned high standards and offer incredible versatility, powering anything from industrial conveyors to hospital beds.

Every effort has been made to ensure the catalogue is clear and straightforward, making life as easy as possible for engineers sourcing drives for almost any application".

Technical operating information, including nominal voltage, power, current and speed, power input and output, torque, direction of rotation, type of protection for both the equipment and personnel, type of duty and circuit diagrams are also provided in tables and characteristic graphs to ensure design engineers are able to select the best motor for their particular requirements.

Contact details are provided for industrial sales offices across Europe, so customers can request support wherever their machine or installation may be sited.
