The popular annual luncheon of the British Stainless Steel Association will be held at the prestigious Cutlers' Hall in Sheffield on Wednesday 18th April 2007.

Sponsored by Outokumpu Stainless, the guest speaker will be Steve Barnett, President of the Nickel Institute, a key organisation in the promotion of stainless steel worldwide and an active participant in market development initiatives.

Barnett was appointed to his present role at the beginning of 2006, having previously been Vice President Health, Safety and the Community in BHP Billiton's Stainless Materials Division.

The luncheon, which will be preceded by the association's AGM, provides an ideal opportunity to meet and network with senior personnel from diverse sectors of the stainless steel industry.

Ticket prices are GBP 80 plus VAT, or GBP 60 plus VAT for BSSA members and their guests.

A booking form is available from the BSSA's website.
