Battery monitors cut the odds of unplanned outages
Modern battery monitors measure such parameters as voltage, current temperature and impedance and can also allow for variations in a battery's performance during its life.
It's the scales that count
A new range of industrial counting scales suits the needs of a variety of industries where parts counting is essential for inventory control, packaging checks and component handling.
Alarming performance from weighing scales
Adam Equipment has introduced a new range of industrial weighing scales to suit the needs of a wide variety of industries from building supplies to electronics manufacturing.
The BVS-S4 has been designed to virtually eliminate any requirement for external battery wiring harness and conduit runs.
The system accurately measures and reports individual internal cell impedance and connection resistance, individual cell voltages, system voltage, ambient temperature and pilot cell temperature.
It also captures and monitors battery discharge voltages and currents.
A local and remote alarm alerts the user to out of limit conditions for unit voltage, impedance, system voltage, temperature, loss of AC power and battery discharge.
For easy operator access the control portion of the system folds down in front of the battery cabinet then folds back again when battery access is required.
The wire harness that monitors the individual battery cells is sited inside the cabinet, which makes it very easy to install The combination of the BVS observer with its auto polling capability and the BVM software gives the user with accurate information about the batteries internal health.
It effortlessly captures archives and reports the measured data, which can be viewed, graphed, printed and auto-analysed.
The system will monitor the majority of battery chemistries - flooded or VRLA - 2 to 12V DC units.
