British Autogard has officially opened its new 5000m2 factory at Cirencester in Gloucestershire.

British Autogard has officially opened its new 5000m2 factory at Cirencester in Gloucestershire.

The company's move to the purpose built factory follows a GBP 5 million investment that includes the building itself and new, state-of-the-art automated production machinery.

Commenting at the opening, the company's chairman Derek Gold says the factory will enable British Autogard to meet a growing demand for its range of torque limiters, Autoflex couplings and Monitorq electronic torque monitors, in key export markets in Europe, the USA and Asia.

British Autogard is the UK's leading manufacturer of torque limiters with more than 35 years experience and also manufactures flexible couplings and electronic torque monitoring equipment.

The company is represented worldwide by manufacturing and sales offices in the USA, Australia, Japan and Germany and via distributors throughout Europe and Scandinavia, South Africa and Singapore.
