With the current ISO9001:1994 standard due to become extinct at the end of 2003, Autogard has gained accreditation to the new ISO9001:2000 standard.

Commenting for Autogard, Managing Director Michael Hutchings says the new standard is a process approach to systems management, focused on continual improvement and customer satisfaction.

"Complying with the new standard has involved the whole business and created a great deal of extra work", he says: "but in the long run it benefits the company and demonstrates a commitment to our customers on both product quality and on-time service".
