BuckHickman InOne has extended its 3M range with 180 new products.

BuckHickman InOne has extended its 3M range with 180 new products.

This is in addition to the 1300 product lines already stocked by the distributor.

There are new products in hearing protection, eye protection, respiratory protection, welding protection, sorbents, safety matting and cleaning consumables.

Vicky Nash, Marketing Manager for 3M said "There is a tendency to only associate us with respiratory protection, when in fact we have a huge range of PPE and other products".

"Indeed sourcing respiratory, hearing and eye protection from one manufacturer makes sense as they are more likely to be compatible with each other making the fit and therefore comfort better".

New from 3M and BuckHickman InOne in respiratory protection is a disposable respirator - the 3M 8833 Soft Seal valved respirator.

Its robust shell and cup design will fit most face shapes and sizes and maintains its shape during in use.

The Elecret filter media effectively filters hazardous particles while offering minimal breathing resistance.

In the welding range, the 3M Speedglas 9002V darkens automatically.

It features four exhaust vents to remove exhaled air, reducing the buildup of carbon dioxide.

Previously hidden peripheral hazards are now visible through shade 5 side windows.

This latter feature ensures that the shield stays in the safe down position more often.

Also new from both 3M and BuckHickman InOne is a handy disposable chemical spill kit.

A dispenser holds fours kits, each of which contains two chemical sorbent multi-format wipes, a pair of protective gloves, a disposal bag and tie and a hazardous waste disposal label.

The packaging converts into a disposable dustpan and brush.

Kits can be positioned in areas where spills are likely to occur.
