The BOS2K photoelectric sensor family is available in diffuse - with or without background suppression - retroreflective and through-beam types.

Now rounding out the Balluff photoelectric sensor family are the new BOS2K sensors in diffuse - with or without background suppression - retroreflective or through-beam types.

These tiny sensors are especially suited for the many requirements of assembly and handling technology and feature long scan ranges, fast response times and high immunity to ambient light.

With dimensions of just 20 x 7.5 x 10mm, the BOS2K sensor offer unbeatable performance and are easy to attach in slots, pockets or guide rails.

The smaller laser-like light spot enables reliable detection of even the smallest objects in tight mounting space conditions.

Exact positioning.

precisely designed scan ranges and a light spot just 1mm in size are all made possible by a new kind of pinpoint LED.

The highlight of this sub-mini-format series is true background suppression - a key function of photoelectric sensors.

For protection against harsh environments the sensor has a IP67 rating, and the mounting of these sensors using a metal sleeve and M3 screw contributes to longer service life.
