The new cylinder and valve sensor catalogue from Balluff makes selection of the most cost effective and reliable sensors for any cylinder easier than ever before.

The new cylinder and valve sensor catalogue from Balluff makes selection of the most cost effective and reliable sensors for any cylinder easier than ever before.

With the most comprehensive selection of hydraulic cylinder position and end of stroke sensing Balluff reckons it has broken new ground with the BHS range of high pressure inductive sensors.

This family has a pressure rating of 500bar, with and extended sensing distance of 2.5mm and an increased temperature rating of 120C.

Noncontact measurement feedback from BIL and BTL transducers give new options for accurate positioning at low cost with an extremely robust and reliable sensing technology.

By using Balluff's range of universal cylinder sensors that can be mounted onto any manufacturers' pneumatic cylinder by choosing the corresponding mounting bracket, inventories can be kept to a minimum and installation and setup times reduced by selecting a single sensor type for all cylinders.

Easy to use crossreference tables are included in the catalogue allow easy selection of sensor/mounting bracket combination for a variety of cylinder manufacturers and types leaving designers with more time to concentrate on other issues.
