Balluff introduces brochure on sensors for fluid technology.

Balluff has published a brochure called "Sensors for Fluid Technology" This full colour brochure covers various new products and applications for the fluid power industry

A highlight of the brochure is BIL, which offers continuous position feedback for pneumatic miniature grippers.

The BIL magneto-inductive linear position sensor is mini-proportioned and provides accurate, non-contact continuous positioning information.

It allows existing motion control systems to be upgraded from end-of-stroke to the flexibility and precision of continuous absolute positioning feedback.

This inductive transducer measures without contact and provides an analogue output.

The BIL is 95mm long and no separate housing is needed.

Delivering linearised stroke information up to 50mm and non-linearised stroke information up to 60mm, it has a high resistance to shock, vibration and moisture and there are no moving parts other than the magnet.

It is suitable for harsh environments, with potted sensor and electronics.

Voltage and current-output versions are available.
