Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Dec 14, 2001

UL (the USA based approval body) has extensively tested 17 styles of Bulgin's fuseholders and increased the approval rating from 10A up to 16A 250Vac

17 styles of Bulgin's fuseholders have now received UL approval to 16A at 250Vac.

Previously rated at 10A, 250Vac, UL (the USA based approval body) has extensively tested the range and increased the approval rating up to 16A 250Vac.

The increased rating is in addition to the approvals already held from VDE, CSA, SEMKO and IMQ and is testament to the quality of the products.

Manufactured from flame retardant nylon and polyester materials the fuseholders offer a choice of styles and protection categories (PC2 and PC3) for 11/4"x1/4", 1"x1/4" and 5x20mm fuses with a variety of mounting and carrier options including; drawer style, screw or bayonet cap, screwdriver or finger carrier release and screw or snap to panel fixing.
