The latest talented and creative design thinkers to graduate from Brunel University will exhibit their work at the annual student-led design show this May.
Each year, for the past 15 years, Brunel Design has embarked on singularly spectacular design programmes to promote the word Brunel as a centre of design and engineering excellence.
The unique blend of creative product and graphic design solutions has become recognised and respected, worldwide, by other academic institutions, manufacturing companies, service sector organisations and consultancies.
Brunel designers have the technical ability, commercial awareness and understanding of engineering, new materials and manufacturing processes to create some technically astounding products.
Combine this with a fundamental creative flair and the results are spectacular.
Symbolic of all Brunel designers is the pencil, the fundamental design tool.
Innate talent is sharpened by the Brunel Design process: this year Brunel Design is "sharper".
The "sharper" event will exhibit work from a diverse range of design disciplines.
Advanced technology is coupled with creative ingenuity to design and build products that actually work, alongside examples of equally outstanding graphics, web and multimedia design.
Accompanying the show is the professionally produced directory, detailing the work of the graduating students.
10,000 copies will be distributed nationally and internationally, reaching industry professionals on every continent.
Previous Brunel Design shows have attracted significant media interest, with products such as the folding stiletto heel and underwater MP3 player capturing the public's imagination.
Brunel Design 2005 "sharper" is open from 23rd to 26th May, for the first time at Brunel's main campus at Uxbridge.
