London showcase for student designers
The annual Brunel University student design and engineering show, Made in Brunel will be held from 12th to 14th June 2007 at the Business Design Centre, Islington, London.
Made in Brunel 2007 will build on the success of the 2006 show as a showcase for graduates of Brunel's School of Engineering and Design, combining creativity, rigorous engineering science and market awareness to produce design that will have a major impact on our lives The show has become a destination for all those involved in design and engineering, from consumers to producers and businesses

Highlights from the 2006 show included: AAlert, a bracelet that combined motion with reaction time to determine whether or not a driver is suffering from driver fatigue; PerfEGG, a clever device that ensures a perfectly hard or soft boiled egg; Remember, an electronic contraceptive pill reminder; Big White Box, a not-for-profit online marketplace where you can buy and sell photography and raise money for charity; and Switch Selector, a computerised personal shopper to help out in the high street changing room.
