An interactive CD-ROM is now available from Busak+Shamban (TI Speciality Polymer Products) enabling engineers and specifiers of hydraulic equipment to determine the most appropriate sealing solutions for their requirements.
The program takes the user through all aspects of engineering considerations and performance requirements to provide a definitive sealing prescription for the specific task.
Employing bespoke software, with a Windows interface, the seal selector is considered one of the most advanced of its kind and has been developed by Busak+Shamban specifically for hydraulic equipment designers.
The program considers the engineering envelope, including fit, operating temperatures, pressures, media, material compatibility etc.
and calculates co-efficient of friction and other critical performance expectations before offering sealing system options.
Sealing arrangements are displayed in detail and are available to download / incorporate in the userūs assembly drawings.
