Busak+Shamban has developed a specific range of radial and rotary sealing systems.
Greater use of radial and rotary sealing, increased performance expectations and more compact design parameters have led the company to develop a specific range of radial and rotary sealing system solutions from its extensive portfolio of design and manufacturing capabilities.
The new portfolio includes PDR / PTFE seals, offering up to 4000 hours of dry running and in excess of 10,000 hours in applications such as engine crankshafts and compressors where minimal maintenance and a long service life are of paramount importance.
Additionally, PDR seals are well proven in the world of F1 motor racing, where the sealing environment is taken to the extreme.
The Busak+Shamban PDR / PTFE range of rotary seals is application designed and has exceptional resistance to acids, organic fluids and solvents; unaffected by oxidation and ultraviolet radiation, PDR seals are ideal for applications within the chemical industries.
A new addition to the Busak+Shamban rotary range of sealing solutions is the GAMMA-seal which combines the high speed capabilities of mechanical seals with the simplicity of a rotary shaft seal.
The GAMMA-seal acts as a deflector ring and a clearance seal - easy to fit where space is a premium and integrity cannot be compromised.
Rotary seals often fail in heavily contaminated environments due to the ingress of dirt.
The COMBI-seal, which combines a GAMMA-seal and a rotary seal, provides a long service life in critical applications where contamination is a problem.
The Busak+Shamban rotary products range also includes cassette-seals, radial shaft seals, V-Rings, Turcon Roto Glydring and Varilip shaft seals in its comprehensive portfolio of Rotary Sealing Solutions.
