Busak + Shamban and Trelleborg Sealing Solutions have successfully completed the contract to supply guide vane, linkage and servomotor bearings for Three Gorges project in China.
Busak + Shamban and Trelleborg Sealing Solutions have successfully completed the contract to supply guide vane, linkage and servomotor bearings for Three Gorges project in China, the largest hydroelectric project in the world, through Alstom Power Hydro.
Manufactured of synthetic composite incorporating a unique PTFE based low friction bearing surface to give excellent dry running properties, the Orkot Hydro bearings will be fitted in hydro turbines on the right bank of the dam, which will have an output of 18,200MW when completed in 2009.
