Trelleborg Sealing Solutions is supplying bicycle shock-absorber manufacturer A-Pro Tech with advanced sealing solutions.
The sealing system is said to have excellent overall sealing characteristics, a key element in the effective performance of A-Pro's shock absorbers in difficult off-road and mountain-terrain conditions.
It also ensures exclusion of external media, the ingress of which is a potential cause of failure, and meets zero-leakage requirements.
For heavy-duty applications, Trelleborg is developing new configurations with the Turcon AQ Seal, which is said to give exceptional performance in industrial applications that are also subject to high-pressure spikes.
