The BOHS is running a one-day seminar 'COSHH - Current and Developing Issues', on 21 July 2005 at the Society of Chemical Industry, London.

The latest revision of the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations were published on 17 January 2005, and the new Workplace Exposure Limits and Approved Code of Practice (AcoP) came into force in April 2005.

Employers and occupational health and safety professionals throughout industry need to keep themselves informed.

In a timely response, the BOHS has re-developed its popular seminar to provide an update on the revised Regulations and the issues surrounding them.

In addition, there will be a number of presentations covering practical aspects of assessment and measurement as well as the latest approaches to the selection and fit testing of respiratory protective equipment.

Speakers will include representatives from the HSE, industry and consultancy.

This is a one-day seminar that is open to all, and attendance will count towards Continuing Professional Development (CPD) not just on the BOHS's CPD scheme, but on any organisations' schemes that are self-administered.

The full programme is available on the BOHS website, where on-line bookings can be made, or telephone the BOHS to request a booking form.

The cost, which includes lunch and refreshments, is £40 for BOHS members or £60 for non-members.
