'Managing Occupational Health and Safety' is a one-day seminar being hosted jointly by BOHS and IOSH on 2 November 2005 at the Jaguar Visitors Centre, Birmingham, UK.

The management of occupational health and safety can present many different challenges, from managing occupational skin health, through contracting-out of services, to its integration with quality and environmental management systems.

This seminar will provide health and safety professionals with an opportunity to learn from the practical experiences of others, with high-profile speakers representing IOSH, BOHS, the Faculty of Occupational Medicine, the RCN Society of Occupational Health Nursing, as well as those from industry and consultancies.

It is a one-day event, the first ever to be jointly hosted by BOHS and IOSH, and is open to anyone with an interest in the management of occupational health and safety.

Attendance will count towards Continuing Professional Development on any CPD schemes that are self-administered, including those of both IOSH and BOHS.

The full programme is available via the events calendar on the BOHS's website, where it can also be booked on-line.

Alternatively, postal bookings can be made by contacting the BOHS to request a booking form.

The cost, which includes lunch, refreshments and VAT, is £40 for BOHS and IOSH members, or £60 for non-members.
