A British Occupational Hygiene Society product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Jun 9, 2008

The three-day conference covers cardiovascular disease and the role of inhaled particles in the development of cardiovascular disease.

The British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS), in conjunction with the Aerosol Society, is holding Inhaled Particles X (IPX).

The first Inhaled Particles (IP) conference was held in Oxford in 1960.

Over the past 48 years, IP has been the event at which some of the key developments in occupational and public health have been debated.

IPX will bring together researchers from a range of disciplines to better understand the nature of inhalable particles and their effects.

The three-day conference covers cardiovascular disease and the role of inhaled particles in the development of cardiovascular disease and/or the triggering of heart attacks.

It also covers exposure to asbestos and soil contaminants.

As well as the Research is also being carried out on nanoparticles and environmental tobacco smoke (ETS).
