A new combined specification provides requirements for the classification of nonalloy and fine grain steel covered electrodes for manual metal arc welding.

BS EN ISO2560:2005 is a new combined specification providing for classification using a system based on the yield strength and the average impact energy of 47J of all-weld metal, or using a system based on the tensile strength and the average impact energy of 27J of all-weld metal It provides requirements for the classification of nonalloy and fine grain steel covered electrodes for manual metal arc welding

BS EN ISO2560:2005 specifies requirements for classification of covered electrodes and deposited metal in the as-welded condition and in the post-weld heat-treated condition for manual metal arc welding of nonalloy and fine grain steels with minimum yield strength of up to 500N/mm2 or a minimum tensile strength of up to 57N/mm2.

BS EN ISO2560:2005 replaces BS EN499:1995 which has been withdrawn.

The price is GBP 112, or GBP 56 to BSI Subscribing Members.
