Socketry range expands

A Britool product story

Britool's socketry range has received another 20 boxed socket sets, 15 sets of sockets on clip rails and five extension bar sets

Britool has extended its socketry range following the successful re-launch earlier this year.

The range extension adds 20 boxed socket sets including 1/4 inch SD, 3/8 inch SD, 1/2 inch SD and 3/4 inch SD, 15 sets of sockets on clip rails and five extension bar sets.

David Osborne, Head of Marketing for Britool, said: "The professional tightening tools market is highly competitive, therefore it is vitally important as the leading player that we constantly expand and improve our range to satisfy the needs of our customers".

The extended range covers metric, AF and Whitworth and continues to feature the high standard of finish, offering superior corrosion protection.

All the sockets in the Britool range are cold forged giving a far stronger socket that is less likely to split under high loads and less likely to have chrome flaking problems.

The socket also moves the point of the drive further away from the corner of the fastener and significantly increases the load that can be applied without rounding off the head or risking the socket slipping.
