Europa Plus batteries are based on absorbent glass mat (AGM) separator construction with the acid gel contained in AGM to give non-spillable, maintenance-free construction.
The batteries are leak proof with no requirement for forced venting and can be used in any position.
In addition, advanced gas recombination gives low gassing and removes the need to add water.
A low pressure relief valve opens for gassing and seals to prevent oxygen ingress.
Additional features of the Europa Plus range include a low self-discharge rate (typically less than 3% per month) to ensure long storage life, excellent recovery from deep discharge and a charge/discharge cycle life in excess of 1000 depending on depth of discharge.
The range offers up to five years float service.
Europa Plus is the enhanced and upgraded Eleckson range of batteries that has been highly successful in Europe since 1997 and provides a wide range of high quality, competitively-priced sealed lead-acid batteries as direct mechanical and electrical alternatives to industry-leading brands.
