Camden's PJ996-style sealed lead acid lantern batteries are ideal for use in a wide range of applications from communications and radio equipment, through emergency lighting systems and marine equipment to portable lighting, solar powered systems, lanterns, models and toys.
The BEL060040S batteries' absorbent glass matt (AGM) separator assembly maximises recombination efficiency of excess charge gases while the acid gel contained in AGM provides non-spillable, maintenance-free construction.
The leak-proof PJ996-style batteries can be used in any position and offer low self-discharge specifications of typically less than 3% per month at 25 C to ensure long storage life.
Features include excellent recovery from deep discharge, more than 1,000 charge/discharge cycles (depending on depth of discharge), up to 5 years float service and a low pressure relief valve that opens for gassing and closes to prevent oxygen ingress.
BEL060040S PJ996-style batteries are supplied with fitted terminal covers to insulate and protect in transit.
Dimensions are 66.8mm square by 98.5mm high with weight of 0.9kg.
Height over terminals is 110mm.
