Camden Electronics has launched a new range of versatile DIN rail mounting extendable module boxes that snap fit together for easy assembly Offering simple inventory management with just two basic part numbers, the new CMEB module boxes fit standard 35mm DIN rail and provide standard 17.5mm wide modules and end plates that can be end stacked to create boxes of any size

The modules also feature built-in mounting clips that allow surface mounting.

These clips simply retract when units are being rail mounted.

Four pre-fitted interface terminal blocks with two connections each are provided giving a total of eight terminations per module.

Any unused terminals can easily be removed.

The captive rising clamp terminals accept multistrand and solid conductors as well as ferrule and fork terminations.

Snap-on terminal covers provide IP20 finger protection.

Modules will house up to three PCBs mounted horizontally or two PCBs mounted vertically.

Moulded in UL94 V1 material, the new modules are available in grey as standard but can also be supplied in custom colours for volume orders.

Volume orders can also be delivered with terminals in specified positions enabling customers to significantly reduce assembly times.
