A new range of plug and socket connectors provides faster and safer connections in a wide range of lighting and electrical applications.

The CLC series plug and socket connectors are moulded in black or white PA6 and provide connection for two poles plus earth with maximum rating of 400V AC.

The plug and socket connectors are ideal for use in a wide range of mains electrical and lighting applications providing total protection of live parts.

The plugs and sockets are polarised to eliminate the possibility of faulty connections and are IP40 rated when plug and socket are connected.

VDE and KEMA approved, the plug and socket connectors feature raised screws for easier insertion of conductors and latching types are available for even safer connections.

Fast connector types featuring two fast connection points per pole are also available for use with rigid conductors.

Specifications include maximum voltage of 400V AC, working temperature from -5 to +85C, tinned brass contacts and zinc-plated steel metric thread captive screws.

Cable outlets are available in half-round and flat formats to suit different cable types with rated connection capacity up to 2.5mm2 for all models.

CLC series connectors can be supplied as plug-in sets comprising connectors complete with covers or as panel mounting (snap-in) connectors with push wire terminals or as connectors only.

A wide range of accessories is also available encompassing covers, blanking caps and plug-socket links for panel mounting connectors.

Camden's CLC series plug and socket connectors extend the company's latest connector product line that encompasses a wide range of terminal strips and related connector components.

These include an extensive range of 12-pole terminal strips, screw to screwless connectors, push-in fast connectors, transformer connectors, high temperature resistant connection blocks and a wide range of related accessories.
