Camden Electronics has launched a new range of vertical plug-in PCB connectors that feature rising clamp terminals for secure connections in a wide range of electrical and lighting applications.

The new CTB92VE series female connectors are available in sizes from 2 to 20 poles and provide polarised connections for cables with the corresponding PCB mounted male header.

The new 3.81mm pitch connectors offer vertical cable orientation and complement the existing CTB92HE series that provides horizontal oriented cable entry.

Moulded in green UL94V0 flame retardant PA68, the new CTB92VE series connectors feature professional rising clamp terminals to provide secure connection of cables.

Contacts are 5um tinned phosphor bronze with 5um nickel copper flash brass clamp.

The captive M2 clamp screw is zinc plated steel colour passivated and tropicalised.

Rated for operation at 130/450V and 10A nominal current, the CTB92VE series features minimum insulation resistance of 5Mohm and minimum dielectric strength of 1250V AC/60s.

Maximum cable entry is 1mm2 with maximum operating temperature of 110C.

UL, VDE and IMQ approvals are pending.
