Camtek has joined the Solid Edge Voyager Partner programme, with its PEPS CADCAM suite being classed within the "Manufacturing" category.
Camtek has joined the Solid Edge Voyager Partner programme, with its PEPS CADCAM suite being classed within the "Manufacturing" category.
"Achieving membership of the Voyager Partner programme was one of our key objectives", comments Terry Antrobus, Director of Sales and Marketing for Camtek.
"Solid Edge is an important, leading design solution, and working directly with Solid Edge part and assembly files in our PEPS Solidcut CAM system means that we increase opportunities to work with Solid Edge customers around the manufacturing globe, and to offer those clients the ability to benefit from tightly integrated solutions for the various CNC applications fields within which we excel".
PEPS Solidcut delivers modular CAM solutions for applications requirements ranging from 2D profiling, through three-axis surface and on to simultaneous three- to six-axis laser profiling.
Using the free design integrators, any Solid Edge users who run CNC equipment within any manufacturing sector and including production, toolroom or prototyping environments, will be able to easily integrate their designs into their CNC manufacturing processes with toolpath generation and prove-out within PEPS Solidcut.
Antrobus concluded: "We are particularly pleased that we have been able to introduce our Solid Edge Design Integrator at no extra cost to our users".
