Calibre UK has introduced PCI format I2C-Bus communications adapters for low-voltage use PCI-93LV is capable of working with I2C-Bus systems from 5V through 3V3 down to as low as 2V

PCI93-LV and the PCI-90 5V comms adapter are ideally suited for development and testing of modern low voltage I2C-Bus systems such as mobile telecoms, consumer electronics, embedded control systems and personal computer hardware.

PCI93-LV and PCI90 compliment Calibre's existing industry-standard range of ISA format I2C-Bus communications adapters now in use around the World by numerous electronics companies of all types and sizes for nine years.

I2C-Bus comms adapters allow users to gain control of I2C-Bus systems under test and development from the comfort of their PC.

It supports single and multi-master operations and can also be programmed to behave as a slave device.

32-bit Win95/98/NT4 DLLs for are included to provide users with an easy software development path not requiring any specialist PCI or Windows I/O knowledge.

This is ideal for integration into customer-specific test and development software systems.

For new users or those requiring a quick start a ready-to-run Windows application, WinI2C is available for 95/98 and NT platforms.

It provides access to all common I2C functions and includes a basic bus monitor/data-logging function.

PCI93-LV and PCI-90 together with their associated software provide a quick and easy to install, very cost effective solution to I2C-Bus communications for the software or hardware developer or test engineer.

Use of these products can greatly speed up product development and debugging saving engineering time and money.
