Power quality instrument gets measure of
EN501600
PQA700 is an analysis instrument from Carlo Gavazzi which is able to measure the main electrical phenomena such as harmonics, supply voltage dips, supply voltage variations and supply interruption
The EN501600 standard has made it necessary for both vendors and users of electrical devices to be aware of the quality of the electrical supply The characteristics of an electrical product depend not only on the skill of the supplier in the electrical network management, but also on how the product is used

The improvement in the quality of the electrical supply can imply a cost for both parties.
PQA700 is an analysis instrument from Carlo Gavazzi which is able to measure the main electrical phenomena such as harmonics, supply voltage dips, supply voltage variations and supply interruption.
It can be implemented by suppliers and users in order to measure and analyse anomalies in the supply.
The problems most often reported by users are failures on compensation capacitors, blown capacitor fuses, overheating of power supply transformers with load current below the rated value, overheating of motors, high neutral conductor currents, problems on electronic motor controls and frequent activation of UPS.
The PQA700 can help identify and analyse problems by showing the electrical phenomena information in a clear graphical display which can be quickly printed through a built in printer.
A rechargeable battery allows measurements to be taken even under strong disturbances and special power conditions.
The PQA700 has an RS232 communication port to download and process measurements in more detail and includes analysis functions such as statistical data management and an oscilloscope function.
A complete accessory set includes three accurate clamp-on probes (up to 1200A), a cable set, analysis software - PqaSoft - and a rugged carrying case.
