Transformer Soft Starter spins a good yarn
At Rieter, the TSE soft starter performs the joint task of avoiding switching noise and replacing expensive, large, heavy transformers significantly reducing the cost of production.
It can feature the option to stop the water supply and prevent further damage.
The system combines flexibility and ease of installation with an unobtrusive sensor design that easily blends into residential areas.
Waterstop can detect leakages, rainwater or wastewater from household equipment, such as washing machines and dishwashers, as well as escaped fluids from larger appliances.
Because Waterstop uses Dupline communication technology all sensors can be connected to the same two wire cable, making wiring extremely easy and flexible.
The operating distance of up to 1000m/3300ft makes it possible to use a single system incorporating home, garage and outbuildings; it can even be used on building sites.
The sensor is easily mounted on a unique bracket that ensures correct mounting and allows for the possibility of moving the sensor away whilst sweeping floors.
The cable can be hidden behind the sensors and wall panels.
Up to eight sensors can be connected up to the control module that is capable of controlling a magnetic valve and providing an alarm.
The system is sold as a kit with control module and four sensors.
Valve and alarm device can be included in the kit.
Waterstop finds applications in residential homes, offices, labs, cellars, computer rooms, UPS/generator rooms, telecommunication rooms, archive storage areas and all remote places.
