Carlo Gavazzi's new RP1 series of PCB mounting solid-state relays are designed for all types of applications including motors of up to 5A AC3 rating.

Carlo Gavazzi's new RP1 series of PCB mounting solid-state relays are designed for all types of applications including motors of up to 5A AC3 rating The series is capable of handling resistive heater loads and inductive loads like solenoid valves and both 1ph and 3ph motors

The 4 to 32DC, regulated control input enables use across a wide range of applications from interfacing in industrial control panels to laboratory and vending equipment.

The RP1 series can cope with surge currents as high as 300A, can withstand peak voltages in excess of 1000V and represents the state-of-the-art in PCB mount power switching versions are available in ratings from 230VAC to 480VAC.

Rugged opto-isolation ensures reliable operation with any type of load.

Constructed using surface-mount technology throughout, the RP1 series is sealed using a fire retardant, flexible compound.

This reduces mechanical stresses to a minimum and lifetime is extended.

As with all Carlo Gavazzi solid-state relays, the RP1 series meets the requirements of EN50082-2 and is EMC Level 3 compliant.

The series has operational frequency range of 45-6Hz and operating temperature range of -20 to +70C and is supplied in SIL industry-standard package.

For use in low power industrial applications, RP1 series can be supplied on a DIN rail-mounting base with LED status indication.
