A portfolio of products from Carlo Gavazzi's energy management range have been included in the Carbon Trust's Energy Technology List.

Business users of products included in the list may qualify for Enhanced Capital Allowance (ECA) tax relief.

"With reduction of carbon emissions high on the government's priority list, it is imperative that businesses have easy access to information that could potentially save them large amounts of money", said Alan Hickman of Carlo Gavazzi.

"We are delighted to be included in this important technology list and it will enable our customers to quickly see which products will benefit them both technically and financially".

In 2003 the Government's Energy White Paper set a target for the UK to reduce carbon emissions by 60% and create a low carbon economy by 2050.

The Carbon Trust was established and is an independent company funded by Government.

The company's role is to help the UK move to a low carbon economy by helping business and the public sector reduce carbon emissions through energy efficiency and carbon management as well as capturing the commercial opportunities of low carbon technologies.
