Digital panel meters have multiple
personalities
New universal modular digital panel meters are supported by software that enables easy cloning and feature a modular signal conditioning architecture.
Carlo Gavazzi has introduced a new range of universal modular digital panel meters, supported by software that enables easy cloning and featuring a modular signal conditioning architecture that supports flexible configuration of power supply, measurement, alarm management or signal retransmission functions This allows users to rapidly configure a straightforward signal conditioner or a very sophisticated controller with communication port

The UDM35 digital panel meter offering a 3.5-digit display, comprises of plug and play modules allowing easy and fast assembly and maintenance.
Parameter programming is easy and fast using the optional UdmSoft software, which also supports easy cloning.
Four alarm set-points, plus configurable analogue or serial digital data output, allow powerful variable control and re-transmission.
The UDM40 adds further powerful features including a 4-digit, three-colour display that allows system integrators to match the meter to existing instruments or to associate a different colour to different alarm conditions.
Sophisticated input signal filtering, including programmable integration, smart digital filtering or 16-point linearisation, allows accurate 4-digit representation of nonlinear or distorted signals.
Both the UDM35 and UDM40 series meters are accompanied by the Carlo Gavazzi USC universal signal conditioner, which comprises the module holder and signal conditioning functional modules including the special filtering functions of the UDM series meters, and also has its own software package USCsoft.
