Carlo Gavazzi has joined ESTA, the UK Energy Systems Trade Association.

Products and services from Carlo Gavazzi's energy management portfolio will be listed in the organisation's searchable directory, and the company plans to participate in ESTA's free regional seminars and exhibitions.

As a member of ESTA's Metering and Monitoring Group, Carlo Gavazzi will be helping to promote automatic monitoring and targeting solutions, with the goal of ensuring that energy managers are released from the tedious, time-consuming task of simply collecting consumption data.

The company's automatic monitoring and targeting expertise includes power analysers, power quality analysers and transducers, energy meters and energy management software.

ESTA membership recognises the company's commitment to promoting energy efficient systems and practices.

"Joining the ranks of ESTA is a measure of our genuine commitment to help building designers and managers improve working environments and reduce operational costs", said Alan Hickman of Carlo Gavazzi.

"With small and medium enterprises throughout the UK throwing away as much as a billion pounds per year in wasted energy, this is the latest of a number of initiatives we've taken to promote good practice".

Recent developments include: adding Carlo Gavazzi energy management products to the Carbon Trust technology list; and establishing a specialist distribution network in the UK focused on energy management.
