Plastic bodies cut price of photo sensors
Carlo Gavazzi has launched a new range of photo sensors in M18 housings, significantly lower in price thanks to the use of rugged plastic bodies rather than metal
The modular plug-in system allows technical staff to pre-wire the cable harness outside the panel, reducing the time and skill necessary to complete final panel assembly.
ThyRex enables extremely fast assembly as both power and control terminals plug directly into the pre-mountable base module.
With Faston, screw or spring terminal connection options available, OEMs, panel builders and end users can choose the termination style that meets their requirements for assembly speed or tooling, and matches operator training levels.
The modularity of this new relay system also allows designers to build the precise number of relays and switching configurations required for any given application.
Carlo Gavazzi will also demonstrate their extensive range of sensor products, including inductive, capacitive, ultrasonic and photoelectric devices, a selection of digital panel meters, including the recently launched UDM35/40 together with power analysers and monitoring relays for machine protection.
Further information and demonstrations will be available from Stand 9536 at PPMA, from 27th to 29th September 2005 at the UK NEC, Birmingham.
