Canary Labs has announced the latest release of its trending software packages.
Canary Labs has announced the latest release of its trending software packages.
The packages have been updated with additional features to track accountability and provide easy access to archived data said the company.
Some of the improvements include an audit trail viewer, easier Dataset and file management, improved remote connections and convenient access to the data.
The software also includes tools that help the customer provide information to the Canary support team to verify the software and systems are performing efficiently, added the company.
The Canary software is claimed to be designed to and complies with the OPC standards and specifications, DA (Data Access) and HDA (Historical Data Access).
The latest release is current with the latest windows operating systems and technology.
Trend Historian acquires data through OPC servers and stores the data in a historical database that is designed to handle the volume of data generated by process applications.
It also serves historical and real-time data to Trend Link or any OPC-HDA client application.
Trend Calc is used to scale raw inputs in to engineering values, compute data based on two or more different inputs, compute data based on historical data (hourly averages) and complex, multi-step calculations.
Trend Export enhances exporting functions to CSV or XML format and also has the ability to export from any OPC-HDA compliant server.
The result output can be automatically formatted in to Excel or other applications such as Crystal Reports.
Trend Link is the tool needed to view, analyse and report trend information.
Trend Web is designed as an internet browser viewer to access and view trend charts from anywhere in the world and at anytime, added Canary Labs.
