Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Jun 14, 2001

C-Cubed have developed a multi-functional data acquisition interface card for the compact flash standard which enables handheld computers and PDAs to be used as data collection and analysis tools

At last! An innovative solution that finally brings data acquisition into the 21st century.

Using a multi-functional data acquisition interface card for the compact flash standard, with up to four 24 bit analogue inputs, two 12 bit analogue outputs and four bi-directional digital lines, C-Cubed have developed a system which enables the many hand held computers and PDAs now available, to be used as sophisticated data collection and analysis tools.

The Dataq-CF2 card has a very impressive specification, and can easily be programmed for use with the Windows CE operating system.

It can also be used with Windows 95/98, ME and NT with the additional PC converter card, making it a phenomenally versatile unit, available at a price that would simply not be possible using conventional technology.

The Dataq-CF2, together with the excellent features offered by hand held PCs and the wide range of available software, now makes system development a fast and affordable task.
