C-Cubed updates Pocket Vibra

A C-Cubed product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Jan 29, 2009

C-Cubed will introduce version nine of the Pocket Vibra hand-held predictive maintenance tool at Maintec 2009, at the NEC in Birmingham.

Pocket Vibra takes signals from an accelerometer, which is positioned by the user with a magnet mount, processes them based on ISO and pre-loaded interpretation algorithms and presents the data in categories indicating bearing, balance and alignment faults.

The Freetrend software presents historical test data to help the user predict when machine readings are likely to go out of an acceptable range.

Pocket Vibra is based around a rugged and waterproof handheld unit with a high quality colour display.
