Cockburn Thermal Imaging has developed a system to assist the University of Durham with its thermographic environmental study of the Tees Estuary.

The battery-operated system allows the stand-alone use of a thermal imaging camera to monitor the tidal flows in the Tees basin, without interruption.

The whole system can operate remotely, without the need for any generators, providing a high-powered battery source increasing the normal operating parameters of the thermal imaging camera by over 100 times.
