The initial focus of the new CC-Link office is to provide local language CC-Link services.

The CC-Link Partner Association (CLPA) has opened a regional office in Turkey in conjunction with GTS.

The decision to open the local office in Turkey follows increasing CC-Link usage in the country and wider region.

Sales were originally driven by demand from large Japanese and other Asian companies that have built factories in Turkey.

This has now widened out to encompass other manufacturers, including Perrili, which uses CC-Link throughout it largest tyre production facility.

In the vital Asian market it is dominant the company has more than a 50% market share.

"CC-Link's market position in Asia has provided a firm foundation for global growth", says Steve Jones, CLPA's General Manager for Europe.

"Its increasing use in Europe is surpassing all expectations".

"More and more automation manufacturers are making CC-Link interfaces and end users are increasingly specifying for CC-Link".

GTS has taken on the role of CLPA's Promotion Partner for Turkey.

The initial focus of the new office is to expand CC-Link knowledge in Turkey and provide local language CC-Link services.

As well as users, the office will develop links with the technical, universities and colleges and various trade industry and government bodies Turkey's manufacturing base is both modernising and growing rapidly, fuelled partly by the development of its economy and education system and partly by its geographic position generating export success with several regions.
