The EPC-19 IPC is designed for users who have previously used desktop PCs in harsh industrial environments.

Contec has listened carefully to its customers' comments and has designed a range of industrial grade 19in IPC systems that can help recapture their most precious resources - time and money Although the new IPCs are in the price range of systems that are generally based on desktop technology, they offer many features found in higher-end industral PCs

The EPC-19 IPC is designed for users who have used desktops in harsh industrial environments.

The EPC-19 series takes advantage of embedded technology developments which enables further cost cutting of the unit to the level of desktop PCs used for industrial functions.

The result is a system that is designed to run high performance operating systems at a lower cost than many of those desktops.

The EPC-19 Series has been designed as a scalable system to take advantage of developments in technology in order to reach the lowest cost possible while having the essential feature set users require.

The most noticeable feature on these IPCs is its combination of Intel S-478 based CPU and ISA expansion slots.

To meet most of the industrial computer needs and requirements, it comes with an four PCI slots and three ISA slots onboard.

These IPCs will be in a long-term supply with its latest technologies and powerful features.

Once a system is configured, the system is rigorously tested, ensuring delivery of the performance, reliability and functionality that customers expect and demand.

Besides the hardware configuration, it is also possible to specify software requirements for a "plug and play" solution.
