New version Unigraphics-Pro/E conversion service
Cadcam-E.Com, the Internet-based Cad/Cam data conversion service, has introduced a new version of its Unigraphics to Pro/Engineer conversion service that reads Unigraphics files up to version 17
The translator is integrated within the Surfcam environment and has the same "look and feel" as Surfcam.
The cost per translation will rise to only $95 after the special offer expires.
The new conversion service converts all 3D Pro/Engineer geometry entities to equivalent entities that can be directly used in the Surfcam modeling session.
It provides dramatic savings for subcontractors working with Pro/Engineer data by eliminating the need for a Pro/Engineer license.
The new service reads Pro/Engineer Part (.prt) files from Version 18, 19, 20 and 2000i.
Pro/Engineer solids are imported as Surfcam solids in Surfcam V8.0 and V8.1.
Surfcam Version 8.0 is required as a minimum host environment.
PRO/Engineer assemblies are not imported.
Cadcam-E.Com is the only website that eliminates security concerns relating to uploading confidential files to a third-party website.
Cadcam-E.Com provides the ability to read and manipulate data files generated by enterprise CAD systems without the need to purchase an expensive software license for either the CAD system or translator.
The user simply registers for the service and downloads the translation software.
The per-translation payment can be made with a credit card or a purchase order can be issued.
Running the conversion application on the desktop also provides the fastest conversion speed.
In addition to CIMSC-Pro (Pro/Engineer to Surfcam), Cadcam-E.Com also offers conversion solutions between CATIA, Unigraphics, SolidWorks, SolidEdge, Mastercam, Mechanical Desktop and Varimetrix systems and IGES and STEP formats.
Feature-based translations, Legacy Data translations and Engineering Services are also offered.
