Cat5Works V1.0a is a new bidirectional SolidWorks/Catia V5 translator Cat5Works is integrated in SolidWorks and allows direct import and export of native Catia V5 format files from within SolidWorks

Cat5Works is a "must have" tool for all SolidWorks users that need to work with Catia V5 data, dramatically reducing the complexity of data transfer between the two systems.

The Catia V5 to SolidWorks module offers the following features: support for Catia V5 Release 6 through 12 files, support for Catia V5 parts and assemblies, retains assembly hierarchy of Catia V5 in SolidWorks, entity filtering for selective transfer, supports transfer of Catia V5 colours to SolidWorks, does not require a Catia V5 licence or software to operate, and runs within SolidWorks with the same look and feel as other SolidWorks plugins.

The SolidWorks to Catia V5 module offers the following features: ability to Write Catia V5 parts from SolidWorks parts and assemblies (one-to-one assembly mapping will be added at a future update); support for Catia V5 Release 6 and higher; supports SolidWorks 2003 and 2004; does not require Catia V5 licence or software to operate; and runs within SolidWorks with the same look and feel as other SolidWorks plugins.

Cat5Works is available with node-locked and floating licensing options.
